Biography
Dr, Sangeeta Choudhury completed her Doctorate in the area of cancer (Tata Memorial Hospital / Bhabha Atomic Energy Research Centre, Mumbai). She had her post-doctoral training at the University of New South Wales (UNSW), Sydney, Australia and was the recipient of the Vaccine Action post-doctoral Program (VAP) fellowship at Centers for Diseases and Prevention (CDC), Atlanta, USA for her research in an immunological Dual vaccine. Presently she is a Senior Consultant (tenure; subspecialty Cancer & Stem Cell, Metabolism and Transplantation), Sir Ganga Ram Hospital, India. She is active member of several International/National bodies (ISSCR, AACR, ASM, ISO, ACBI, SBCI). She is grant reviewer of funding agency, Government of India and holds position as member secretary to a few Committee (Research/Institutional Stem Cell/ Institutional Bio-Safety). She has authored more than 50 publications including original articles and book chapters.
